Regulatory Compliance Mark , literally translated as a regulatory compliance mark, is a registered trademark owned by the Electrical Regulatory Authorities (RAs) and the Australian Communications and Media Authority ACMA. After the product has obtained safety certification and EMC electromagnetic compatibility registration, it can obtain the RCM mark through the safety certification regulatory agency. Suppliers can declare that their products have complied with the electrical safety laws/regulations and other requirements of Australian states and New Zealand by affixing the RCM mark. From January 1, 2016, the RCM logo will be fully enforced, and products that have not been registered and affixed with the RCM logo will not be allowed to be sold in the market. Australia and New Zealand implement standard unification and mutual recognition of certification, and products can be sold in another country as long as they are certified by one country.
RCM certification can only be applied by a local company in Australia, and the company must apply for an RCM number from the Australian government. Chinese manufacturers and exporters can apply for IEC or AS/NZS reports in their own names, but the reports must be submitted to Australian importers to apply for RCM.
application process:
1. The third-party laboratory evaluates the product and determines the testing standards to be implemented;
2. If there is any non-conformity in the test, the laboratory will rectify the product to meet and meet the requirements of the Australian standard;
3. Pass the test and issue a test report;
4. Submit the test report to the Australian certification agency for document review;
5. Australia has passed the audit and issued the RCM certificate;
6. Customers can complete the Australian website registration by themselves or by the laboratory;
